Hi Niall,
Thanks for that, I am about to build a storage system in the back of my LC,
this site is so full of links for all sorts of advice and parts I could
spend all day reading, and me who probably won't venture further than
Salisbury Plain.

Hi Niall,
I'm still debating the "shelves + wolf boxes" Vs drawers route - for me
there will be 5 people in the car so space is extremely limited.
I will have to have the fridge in the boot so am considering some sort
of frame to go beside and over the fridge with either rails for wolf
style boxes or drawers a bit like the attached.
My main concern with the boxes is that they are designed to be strong
and therefore the sides and lids tend to be quite thick taking up
valuable space so a couple of big drawers with thin flexible dividers
will probably provide more space.
Allso can you get wolf boxes that are as long as an LC's boot is deep?

How are things?
Do you have any photos of your setup that you can email over?

Hi Jeremy,
Not come across the Gomo boxes before, need to find some more info on
them.
I am thinking along the lines of making something up like the old
caterring trolleys that you see in schools or hospitals - they are
usually made out of stainless steel and you can slide trays, etc into
them.
The more I think about it I guess something similar made out of
aluminium will do the job and if the measurements are tight it should
stop them rattling around too much.
As for a cover, I have my eye on some composite sheeting in a friend's
workshop which will be a fraction of the weight.
The key thing is finding a good source of the boxes - good idea about
not bothering with the lids and also putting two on a shelf, one behind
the other.
Also I appreciate your comments about stopping for a cuppa, although
after a long day with the children in the car I suspect I will be
reaching for the whisky!

Hi Jeremy,
OK, thanks.
As I mentioned before my neighbour has been using some and it is 1/4 or 1/5
the weight of ply - the bog problem with be sourcing sheets in ones and twos.
I need to sit down with Richard at some point over the next couple of weeks
so will get the supplier contact info fro him.
