Not come across the Gomo boxes before, need to find some more info on
them.
I am thinking along the lines of making something up like the old
caterring trolleys that you see in schools or hospitals - they are
usually made out of stainless steel and you can slide trays, etc into
them.
The more I think about it I guess something similar made out of
aluminium will do the job and if the measurements are tight it should
stop them rattling around too much.
As for a cover, I have my eye on some composite sheeting in a friend's
workshop which will be a fraction of the weight.
The key thing is finding a good source of the boxes - good idea about
not bothering with the lids and also putting two on a shelf, one behind
the other.
Also I appreciate your comments about stopping for a cuppa, although
after a long day with the children in the car I suspect I will be
reaching for the whisky!
