Hi Guys
Went on another long run today alone motorways and the cruiser stalled again at the tool booth.
I know I hate paying the toll but the cruiser seems to hate them too.
The problem is that once I put it in drive or reverse the engine stalls.
Also the revs have climed to 1200 while in idle compared to about 700.
The rev count is going up and down by 300 while driving and sometimes at idle aswell.
I have driven it for the past week since the last episode around but with no long runs and it seemed to be fine.
But it seems to cause problems when driven at high speed or revs for a period of time.
I can drive it but its a game of keeping the revs up when they want to drop once its put in gear which is tricky to say the least.
Do any any of you have advice other than scrap the cruiser.
Could it be a simple thing like the fuel filter or something else, to check out.
I will have a guy to look at it but any pointers would be great to impower me with the mechanic.
cheers
