Amazon Tyres

Mine is not an Amazon, but a LandCruiser LC3 fitted with BFGoodrich
265/70 R17 All Terrain tyres, which have performed well on snow, ice, rock
and mud (no sand yet).
The tyres have done 26000 miles and hardly shows sign of tread-wear, no
more noise than the factory fitted OME Dunlop A/T tyres
however I have had one nail (head first) puncture trough 15-18mm of rubber,
2 steel brazing plies & the 3 layers of polyester plies.
The BFGoodrich have also suffered cuts and sidewall damage from sharp rocks,
but overall the tyres have impressed me and are still the best tyres for my
use.
If I did more off-roading then I would choose the BFGoodrich Mud Terrain
tyre with its stronger sidewalls and deeper tread blocks.
The cheapest place for quality off-road tyres in Southeast England is "Nene
Valley
Off-Road" NN6 9TB http://www.4x4tyres.co.uk
