Any Series 60 Owners

Here is my 60 12H-T conversion, custom bumpers, front warn 9500 compressor winch, rear Runva 11500 winch,
dual alternator, dual battery, overland rig in progress. Here I am crossing a river on Vancouver Island. Gotta love Summer!

@Cruiserpilot, how do you run a dual alternator? Is it one 24V and one 12V system, or just redundant 24V? Nice looking truck!

I removed the ac compressor and fabricated a solid mount for the alternator there, using the factory tensioning pulley to adjust. It's a 12V truck now. I keep the two
batteries separate, run winches, lights and keep my fridge on the second battery. I run the basic truck on the main battery. Seems to work ok so far.

Jente - I just realized that photo is not complete as the factory alternator is not mounted yet. It goes directly underneath using factory
brackets. The second alternator on top is fixed, and the ac adjustor pulley tensions the belt. I have an isolator solenoid so the dual batteries are
separate. I use the main battery for all factory operations, starting, lights, heater, glow screen, etc. The second battery is a separate hot buss, with
a 750 Amp isolator for both off, front winch on, or rear winch, or both on. I ran 2/0 battery wire to the rear for the rear winch and Anderson booster connection.
The second battery is for winches, driving lights, webasto, powering fridge, and all other 12V bits and pcs. It seems to work for me. I've done it all myself.
My truck is converted to all 12V. Too much hassle running two voltage systems. If you have more questions, ask. J

@ Cruiserpilot: That sounds like proper job, thanks for the info

Nice and clean truck! What size of tires you're running?
