Why would you move the rear number plate to the lower corner where it gets ripped off as soon as you take it off road.

It looks like its fixed to a bit of plywood , my guess is it just hangs there on hooks so it can be just lifted off when it goes off road .

I think the paint job says a lot about what mechanical condition it probably is in.

But if it had been left in its original position it wouldn't need removing.
