Anywhere in September?

Has anybody got any trips planned in September?

i had hoped to join the Romania trip, but SWMBO couldn't get the dates off work, then the Maroc trip comes up....do you fancy going there again dear I asked......oh yes, but don't know about work was the reply, and guess what..she couldn't get those dates.
So
here I am wondering if I will get away anywhere in my truck this year ( even though it would only be a couple of weeks), as mid sept is the only time she can get, or do I just stay at home??
or,
do we just head off & see where we end up, something like tossing a coin each morning & heading north, south, east or west each day.
i could fly to Cairo & use my mates troopy but it's just not the same as your own truck.
Any suggestions?

french alps are very good
north portugal again very good
north spain has a lot trails
pyrenees are very good as well

We were in Massif Central late sept to October it it was pretty cold at night, camping at 1000m+ so Alps would be even chillier high up
I reckon Spain would be a better option
