My 2013 LC79 made extra parts out of the factory automatic hubs (see picture). Replacement hubs from Toyota are $1300 USDollars and 1 month lead time here in Costa Rica, while AVM brand manual hubs are $225USD and a few days out. My Land Cruiser is an off-roader, and it’s hubs stay locked in except for once every two months when I drive to San Jose on paved roads roads. Durability is most important to me, and I’m concerned the factory ones failed at 70,000km.
I am not familiar with AVM as a brand, and am new to land cruiser hubs, What would you do?
Thank you,
Matt
