Does anyone know the correct size of the long tubing running to the back along the chassis rail?

I made new pipes last year - I used 3/16" cupro-nickel pipe.

I don't know about the length though, I just measured the old ones and cut a length from a 25ft roll.

I think the pipe nuts are 10mm (dia) by 1mm (pitch), but I'll check if you are going to make your own.

Bob.

Thanks Bob. I bought the correct bits then. The pipe just looks so thin...

The smaller pipe handles a higher pressure (3,100 psi) than the larger (1/4" or 6mm) pipe (2,250psi).

Fluid is incompressible, so gives a direct connection between master and slave cylinders. if the brakes are in good order you won't need to pass volume through the pipe.

I ran my pipes through neoprene tubing where they pass over the chassis to reach the Load-Sensing Valve. That was just a precaution against chaffing.

Have fun

Bob.
