Hi Guys
I was just wondering if any of you have or know of a lonely front bumper who
just wants a good home. Even a TJM or ARB might suit.
cheers

John,
I am not sure about this but I think it's a company called 'West
coast 4x4' in or near Liverpool.
Why are you after a front bumper?
Regards, Clive.

Hey Clive
I bent mine a good bit and scratched it a good bit to the point I dont like
it any more, all in one go while being stupid on an off road course. It
looks crap and really takes away from the look and of course it now bent
inwards so nothing left to move really.
cheers

Hi John,
I don't think there is a proper one. Your best bet is to try All-
American in Holland - I think they have the European distribution
rights.

John,
A cheaper option is to find someone who is replacing their bumper to
fit a winch bumper and then buy their old bumper - does Gareth have any
spares lying around?

Hi Lubomir,
YEs, they are too busy working on landcruisers to finish off their
site.
Email Maarten directly using the address provided by Chris.

Maarten is an extremely helpful guy and All American are a good company
to deal with. I have bought a few things from them and am always very
happy with their service, don't let the web site put you off doing
business with them.
Best regards,
Jon.

John, your best bet is to have a good look at the vehicles attending the Salisbury meet.
I had a low profile winch bar made for my 80 as I am not keen on the ARB bars or the like. Mine is very similar in design to the Slee low profile type. It has a simple bolt on A -bar with spot light brackets thereon.
The approach angle is better than the O/E Toy bumper.
I'm very pleased with standard of fabrication and fit although I wish I had got it galvanised then painted. As supplied it was powder coated and I think this will deteriorate with time.
Anyhow you can have a good look on Thursday pm !!
Regards Gareth

Hi all,
I've been also a satisfied customer of AAI and only have words of
praise Maarten's technical knowledge.
The only slight problem while dealing with them is that they won't
accept a credit card payment, only bank transfer. And don't be tempted
to send them cash - there's a thieving ba$tard at the Dutch post
office depot. Ask me how I know!

Hi Guys
The only reason I was asking about the bumper thing is I thought I could
pick up one while im over as postage is really cruel.
But it appears it is not to be, faith is not kind to me this week.
If I could weld etc etc, in other words do something technical with
equipment I would make one myself but seeing as how im challenged in that
sence, I think ill skip that stupid thought.
