Can someone check please? Battery insulator box diesel.

I have a twin battery setup on my 2004 diesel. I notice the nearside battery is inside a thin insulator cover which slides up/off. The drivers side battery has no insulator. Is it missing or is there not one on this side.

Good question. I haven't got one on mine either, but that may not necessarily be conclusive!

My diesel VX also has a twin battery set up and there are insulating sleeves around both batteries so I guess you are missing one.

Same on both my 2000 and my 2004. Only that since it's LHD, the insulator is on the driver's side.
IOW, LHS has insulator, RHS has no insulator.

Coincidentally my headlight had missing bulb assy grommets on the side missing the battery insulator This lead to misting up. I assume it was like it from new!
