If it's the one I'm thinking, someone bought a 100 series without a warranty. Whilst driving the brake line failed and upon taking it to a garage it was totally rusted out underneath.

It was bought with a warranty according to the op. But warranty or not it’s not fit for purpose and the Sales of goods Act covers the ability to reject it for a full refund
