Costly parts.

Wasnt there a car advert years ago that made a point of the fact that there's wouldn't leak oil all over your drive?
 
This M/C is a lot better quality than the ones I used to recon years ago.

I used the rebuild kit on my clutch slave cylinder about six years ago. I had to keep flipping up the clutch pedal with my foot. The piston wasnt in great shape, i didnt have the time so it went in anyway. No problems so far.
 
I agree it is a shame. Had they been leak free and reliable maybe Toyota wouldn’t have done so well with the Landcruiser.
I wonder what will happen with the new MOT requirement for no oil drips? A clean off beforehand I presume.

Oil or water drips here is an automatic fail and has been for as long as I can remember. Any evidence of oil/water leakage without actual drips is a pass with an advisory.

I tend to give any damp areas a wipe over but, this a subjective area and inspectors discretion is used.
