Hi Guys,
I have a 2005 120 LC with 155K miles. On a recent service check up at Toyota, they found that anti-roll bar has snapped off the rear axle housing. Apparently it's beyond salvage, can't be welded etc and they have advised getting a new shell for read axle. At the same time they are not keen to do it as might find more issues underneath that will further increase the costs. I am hoping to take this vehicle on a long overland trip across Africa later this year and joined this forum to get tips/suggestions on getting it prepared. This new issue has thrown a spanner in my plans and I would like to get this resolved before planning anything ahead.
I live in SE London. Could I request members here to recommend any good garages/mechanics in SE who might be able to help with this issue? I will be grateful for any suggestions about Overland preparation specialists. I wouldn't mind travelling further a field, if someone comes highly recommended.
Many thanks.
