Day time running lights

I have just got a pair of led day running lights that will fit in the grill perfectly for my yr 2000 Colorado. All I need now is a circuit that I can 'tap' into that is live when the ignition is on. As my new workshop manual isnt here yet

does anyone know where I can tap into a supply?

Hi Steve

Not sure out there in France, but the DRL's have to go out when the headlights come on, so take a feed from the sidelight circuit, but switch that via a relay
to switch off when the headlights come on.

Crumbs, didnt know that! Keep it simple stupid is my motto! I (hopefully) will get it through the CT tomorrow then fit them, and see what happens next time its due (2 years)
