Hi all,
On Sunday I'm off to Iceland for three weeks, which should be fun. I'm
just doing a bit of last minute tweaking of things and would like to
turn the fueling down a bit as the fuel consumption is high, =B113 mpg,
and it's smoking a lot which I suspect is over-fueling.
I'm a lot more familiar with petrol engines than diesel, and so have a question:
If I turn down the fueling can I turn it down too far and cause
overheating, burnt valves etc the way a petrol engine does if the
mixture is too lean?
Or does the engine just not get enough fuel so there is less power?
Thanks,
