G'day all first time poster .. Had the centre diff lock refuse to disengage om 100 series recently tried everything then ended up having to remove front tail shaft to get home ... Found the electric motor in the actuator was fried so ordered another one... Just installed it and now i can hear it working but it won't engage the locker and the light now doesn't come on.... HELP this has become a mind bender.....cheers Hoogs

Hi,
Not sure if you've sorted this already, but mine had the same issue when I replaced the actuator. Mechanic took a whole day to figure it out, but the reason it did not engage was because when the old one broke, the electronics in the LC had it as disengaged, and when the new one was fitted, it was engaged. In the end he had to short circuit the actuator to get it to disengaged position before fitting it.
