It seems that after 8 years of recession and austerity, good old Ireland has gone batshit crazy again.. apparently we all have a fortune to spend on decade old quarter million mile trucks..

Now I know they're good, and capable of double that mileage without much fettling.. but it must surely be a joke?
Yes

They are a bit too expensive at that price - however don't forget that they cost well over €100K when new !!
Just buy in UK - sterling is cheaper, better choice and import as crew cab or commercial.

Bill

No doubt Bill, and don't get me started on the double taxation system here that caused that price when new!! Even with exchange rates at their worst, there was 20 grand of a difference between here and the UK.

I still can't accept that a truck with that mileage, in standard spec, and not even exceptional condition, could be worth that much. Depreciation isn't linear. There are others for sale here around the €15k Mark, which is certainly fair

Right back at you Bob. I'm originally from Rip of Ireland (RoI) so I appreciate what you mean. There's a fair price and then taking the piss, which is what happens more often than not in Ireland.
