Then we took the cable car up to the top of the hill but were a little dissapointed as the wires were in the way of any good shots, for future reference drive up there and find a good spot!

The Trev treated me to an ice cream, I don't think it's the first time he's tried this on with a young man. Then we wen to the wall to walk round the city only to find out.... no ice cream! It was so good but I never want to witness Trevor shlurping away down an ally again.

Day 10
Finally got round to dipping my toes in the Adriatic While waiting for the ferry back to ploce.

We turned up at the previous campsite in Croatia, set up lit the bbq only to be approaached by the security guard who called over a member of staff. NO BBQS! They let us finish cooking our dinner though and then I had to put water on my boab, wasnt happy, it made noises, its still in good shape, phew!

It's all the video i Have to go through that will take ages. Ive done the boring bit of my journey to slovenia so far. Need to go through Slov 1 next I got phone video, go pro video and trevs magic dash cam video, front n back. Thats gonna take a while!

Day 11
We were heading for lake Bled in Slovenia. we decided to leave croatia via the same route we entered. This ment going up the hairpins ay osilinica. This was the only time my truck was un happy. About ten seconds before we pulled over at turn no8 the atf oil temp light came on. we stopped and took some photos.

Then we carried on up the hill, i left it in 2nd this time indtead of drive and no more red lights We continued on to lake Bled. We tried to get in here

but there was no more room at the inn, so they sugested another campsite not far away.

Camp perun lipce. We arrived quite early, there were only a couple of motorhomes and the odd tent about so we chose our spot (It was unmanned till6 pm) and the lightweights had a little nap. When someone turneed up I happily woke them so we could go pay and ask the all important question, bbq? wohoo!

so Durban curry it was but on this occasion with 2 cans of stella to juice it up.
Im guessing this would be the night there was a spot of rain

Day 12
Bit misty in the morning after the rain

The way it should be...
We stayed here for 2 nights so off we went in search of some more trails. This one followed until we reached a bit no one fancied after Slov1 so we turned round and headed back the way we came
Trev was leading on this one and called out for us to stop, it was clear in front of us but...

Then we moved on a bit further round the mountains.

And then Trev guided us to another trail which was interesting but unfortunately not very long, some vids somewhere.

Day 13 No photos! We had a choice, we could stay another day and blast it for 2 loong days to catch the train home or just have 3 short ones. we were only about 400 miles from the campsite where I stayed in Germany for the Romania trip so we set that as a target. At one of "our" tea stops i pointed out that we'd be driving past Genesis imports in Germany.

so we changed plans and googled campsites nearby. The first one we went to was a car park by the river full of motorhomes, so we went to the 2nd choice.

Day 14. As we only had about 500 miles to the train in two days we had a lazy start and set off for Genesis imports where Trev photobombed the 80's again. There was much stuff there but as i'll be paying off the diesel for the next few months I didn't buy anything. The people there were very friendly and made us coffee, but not as friendly as the dog!

Which wasn't too far from Frontrunner but they would have been closed by the time we got there and shut at weekends so we never visited.
