2019 150 is booked in for a service tomorrow at the dealer, and they just called to inform me they'd be carrying out a recall at the same time.

It's apparently an EGR Pipe recall?
And it takes two days to complete as the whole transmission has to come out. Anyone know what this recall is?

May not be the same thing, but there has been an issue with the EGR cooler where the coolant leaks into the EGR piping. Some info under Prado EGR cooler leak on Pradopoint forums (it won't allow a link, so Google will be your friend). I wasn't aware there was a recall. I also thought later cars had a revised part to avoid this.

Yeah, I was surprised when they told me - when you search the gov website there is no mention of a recall so it must be a new one I guess.

I think the DVLA/Gov't site only covers safety related recalls. The Gov't site says;

"Find out if the manufacturer has recalled a vehicle, part or accessory because of a serious safety problem.
You need to get your car fixed or replaced by the manufacturer if there’s a problem. You will not usually have to pay for any repairs or parts.
If your vehicle has a serious safety defect, the manufacturer will write to you to tell you what to do. You must not drive the vehicle."

I don't believe it covers non safety related (such as coolant leaks) type of recalls.

It would be interesting to know if, following the recall work, owners find they now have a manual method of triggering regen, which i believe later 150 series came with.

I think that is for the DPF - and mine has a Regen button for that, but I have never had to use it. It does the regens roughly every 100 - 300 miles automatically without problems (so far). There are a load of 'pre-conditions' including a near 100% full status that must be met before the regen button can be used - and if the regen is happening automatically - it regens at 40%, so the 100% condition needed for manual is never met.
