Well one of the the guys In our 4x4 club, has been so VERY unlucky to
loose his last copy of his ignition key, he has other keys, but they do
not disable the Electronic immobilizer.
Toyota tells him that he has to buy a whole new set of ignition-switch,
keys and immobilizer, which i about ~850 euro. (not counting the cost of
fitting it in the car).
His car is also a VX80 from 97 just like mine.. Well.. does any of you
have an idea of how he can save a little money.. and/or get his 'yota on
the road again?
I know it is a bit of a long-shot but he is my friend and I promised him
that I would ask around.
