I've been keeping my eye out for a suitable Lexus, cant find anything for less than a couple of grand! Even allowing for selling off bits, which won't impress the missus, its still looking like an expensive option now.
Anyone got any inside info on a good source for the engines?
how about a couple short vids instead?

Hi, just wondering if someone with Lexus V8 conversion can share some knowledge.
I'm interested to know if you are happy with conversion, how did the conversion change your insurance (money) and also, how much road tax do you pay now.
PS, is the mpg's the same as the old 2.4 diesel engine?
Last time I spoke to Paul at WCO, he said the truck was finished but had just been standing there with no word from Si for months... Strange goings on...
Just a thought the 1UZ engines come with an autobox as standard that I think is the same box as found in 80's & 120's might make life a lot easier come conversion time. Swap the back ends over to fit a transfer box to them. The 1UZ ECU also controls the gearbox. 6 wires with power & its running. Also of note the LS400's have clearance engines so even if the timing belt pops off its a clearance engine
I'm fairly up there with Toyota wiring, I've just wired up a Toyota 1JZ into a Nissan this week.
