eu in or out poll

I'm ecstatic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :happy-wavemulticol:

As its now the afternoon/evening here I'm cracking the beers out! :obscene-drinkingbu:

I've just called my parents house phone and woken them up with the great news!

I feel sick. But at least we're about to get a load of new hospitals. And I can sell my stash of Teach Yourself Chinese books to maintain my lavish lifestyle.

I know I'm an ancient old devil but I was 8 years of age on VE Day and I am sure that in the future Britain will be happy that they have regained their independence.

In the euphoria that many are experiencing, we need to remember that the White Water Raft has just left its mooring and there's a whole lot of Rapids between here and the finish line.

You may yet get your wish Rob.
Maybe we will leave. Who knows? Maybe it won't be as bad as we've been given to believe if we do.

Whatever happens, I sincerely hope this vote signals a change for the better for all. In this I'm quietly confident.

I think we are in for a bumpy ride that will probably bring us 10 years of tough times. Once through that I think we will be better off, but don't look forward to the near future

Now its sank in.. im excited.

If bbc news ever puts a leave supporter on we might get some positivity.

Hmm, I guess time will tell who was right and who was wrong. I think there can be some benefits but just how many of those suggested will be real and make a difference and how many were just 'maybes' we'll find out sooner or later.

Can I see a day when people will look back and say to themselves, 'What possessed me to vote leave?"

Yep

I think its going to be interesting.

Is it the best thing since sliced bread? Possibly not.

Will there be a long period of time where things are going to be tough? Yes

Are people going to look back with rose tinted specs on this era? Yes

There are going to be days when there will be a lot of soul searching. The EU has many good points after all,- it's not all bad. I'm pretty certain there will be some noses put out of joint so much that they obstruct our progress at every turn, but as long as we have the right, strong leadership to guide us through this phase, a leader who is on the side of the people, then we should be alright.

I think whatever the outcome of the vote there would be many people thinking 'why oh why did I vote the way I did'.

I agree. I have to admit, at first i was adamant i wanted to leave. As we got nearer it wasnt so black and white. There are pluses to being in europe.

We now dont need a void, a leader needs to step up and bring calm and unity. Positivity and move forward.

Yep, step up Boris Johnson.

On a serious note (though this morning's events still seem surreal to me)....Boris Johnson is 4/5 on, favourite to win the Conservative Leadership battle, so most likely person to be the next PM.

:astonished:

Must admit i am in shock and i expect tough times ahead but not nearly as bad as some predict .

The lion is out of the cage and the zoo keepers aren't so confident any more . Britain has changed the face of the planet today so damage control is the name of the game .

Let the dust settle and a strategy aimed at stability will evolve as both sides of the channel work hard at maintaining as much status quo as possible .

Well I just hope he stops playing the buffoon!
