Folding Mirror Fix??

Hi All,

Since purchasing the truck the mirrors haven't once afford to fold, even with prodigious fat finger stabbing at appropriate button.

Has anyone successfully stripped open (not farked anything) a side mirror and has a short how-to somewhere hidden within these pages?

The pivot part of the mirror can seize, will they fold in by hand? Dont force them too much. Spray some wd40 in there. Does the voltage meter on the dash drop a little when the mirror fold button is pressed? Search for folding mirrors. I did a complte retro install on my truck. all pictures of mirror internals etc are there, post any further questions there if you want.

Thanks Boet, now I know how to strip them. Will check voltages etc and switch. Cheers
