Fridge Tie down straps (Supplier needed)

Gents,

I need a set of tie down straps for my fridge & fridge slide.

I've been looking at the following items & I'm not fussed which brand I go for:

Black widow also do a decent set, there's a video on youtube but I cant' post the link for some reason.

unfortunately locating some in the UK is proving extremely difficult.

Does anyone know where I can get hold of some?

For what fridge, Brett??

BOAB do the Platinum slide, for a price!

APB do the South African fridge slide for quite a bit less

I use turnbuckles and a strap to the fridge handles to attach the fridge to the slide.

You can get genuine Waeco slides on fleabay too

Gents, I already have the fridge (Waeco CF-80) & matching Waeco long slide (CF80/CF110)

The slide I bought used & it didn't come with any tie down straps which I think they are supplied with if you but new?

I just want a set of the tie down straps as posted in the links.

I'm sure I saw a UK supplier with some but can't bloomin remember where

surely any locking straps will work fine? available in most DIY shops, halfrauds etc that is what I am going to use when i get round to building my own fridge slide.

If you are after straps, I've always found Damar Webbing very descent http://www.slingsandstraps.co.uk/

The only problem with off the shelf items is you can ratchet them up too tight & rip the handles off your expensive fridge.

Plus I'm OCD

I just made my own:

Some nylon ski rope knotted around the Waeco handles

Then hooked to the slide using 4 turnbuckles

Works a charm!

Yep sorry best I could find at the time. But it's the concept really - and it's simple effective and cheap
