Where the best to purchase these seals from guys, theres an aftermarket seal iv seen somewer claims to be the dogs bits more widely available in aus i think.

If am going in there again i want it to be the last time for a longer number of years

I think the general consensus is that OEM seals are the best bet and still readily available from dealers I believe. Don’t forget Simon Holton.

Marlin is the name i was looking for

Only use genuine. If your half shafts are severely grooved new seals wont help.

Use genuine! Euro4x4parts sold me a Karson’s as an OEM one and it failed within 2 weeks !

I've used the marlin crawler seals, I got mine from Slee. 1 is now starting to leak, its lasted about 5 years on a grooved shaft.Other side is still holding up.

they are a option. they work for some and not for others.
imo they are a bit of a sticking plaster. for the sake and small cost of genuine seals and speedy sleeves the job will be good for many many miles..
genuine half shafts are not over expensive really neither.

I wouldn't buy Marlin again, I'm going to speedi sleeve & genuine when I get round to doing it.

Ive just fitted terrain tamer ones on my 60. Had to get them from Oz which made them expensive but seem pretty good.
