Fuel Issues??

Hi help wanted. Has anyone had this issue - was driving along the highway at 110km the other day towing a caravan - had a 1/4 tank of fuel when the engine just stopped - like it ran out of fuel - tried to restart but to no avail. No warning lights came on either. Stupid Toyota dealer has no idea whats wrong. Has anyone had this issue or any suggestions???

Would start with the simple stuff

- Have you got fuel in the tank?
-Any warning/check engine light come on?
-Does it try to start at all?

Sounds electrical if you haven't run out of fuel.

You know Jaques, posting details of your 200 and where you are is a great start to help us help you…What did the Toyota dealer check for? Did you (or whoever filled it) put the right fuel in it last time? What fuel should it take? Did it splutter and die a slow death or simply cut out as if the ignition had been turned off?

We're a friendly bunch here but you've got to give us something to go on. Pop over to the 'introduce yourself' section and do just that and you'll probably get more responses.
