A few more pictures. Hard to photograph the inside whilst it’s in the workshop. I special requested light colour carpet as usually they are all fitted with charcoal colour which makes the inside even darker.

Did you take pics of the SIKAFLEX coating around the circumference - i didnt see any, hope the installer didnt forget
 
I was not there for the install. No pictures but he did not forget
 
Well just driven about 2,000km with speeds of up to 80mph (Germany) and ave fuel consumption has been 24mpg (12 litres/100km) engine only on 8,000km so still tight…happy with that!
 
Absolutely stunning build. Really great job! I like the fact that you haven't built the units too high so you have an unobstructed view throughout the cab. It makes it feel much bigger.

I also love that timber work top.
 
Thank you. At one point during the build I hated it! But the plan is starting to come together now! The wood for the worktop and table was my prize find.
 
I was looking at your rear wheel position - your Full Floater hub is barely visible, therefore I assume you have already installed the 45mm wheel spacers
 
Yes spacers went on with the wheels as the wheels are 8.5” and I had to space the front to clear the trackrod

Calorifier is connected to the heater pipes so I have ‘free’ hot water on board.
 
Finally got brave enough to drill holes in the bonnet and mount the plates. Yes they do mean you could walk on the bonnet…doubt I ever will but they break up the big white mass nicely…

The hot water is via a Calorifier. I purchased from these people on The IoW. Surejust > Surecal Calorifiers - [Leaving Land Cruiser Club]

I have the 10 litre tank with a twin immersion that is 12V /300W or 240V/700W. It is fed from the main pump from the cold water tank. It is then linked to the heater pipes on the engine coolant circuit so the water is heated via the coolant circulation, It takes around 20mins to heat the water to 85C if I recall correctly, once hot it will stay hot for 2 days but if you use it then you are mixing in cold as the pump runs.

pipework spurred off the heater pipes. The original link has been preserved so it can be reinstated and the Calorifier taken out of the loop with ease.
