Audi a4 quattro 3 litre tdi.

A dealer i know called me at 12.45pm saying guess what's come in, five minuet walk from my workshop & there it was, paid no where near the sticker price, goes unbelievably quick, one owner full audi service history, pick up in the morning,

So the Lc's back on the market, not in any rush to sell.
 
Very nice, Audi's are my fave German car since I went in an RS6.
Good luck with the sale, buyers of good 80's are still out there but they really are beginning to sort the wheat from the chaff.

Luckily Andy my boys a mechanic so have access to workshop facilities, parts i only pay trade for.

Ins wise it was cheaper to take out a new policy than swop from the Lc believe it or not, if i swop from the 80 they wanted another £340 on top of the £250 i paid a month ago, crazy or what. new policy with no NCB £325, i thought that was b****y cheap.

i am worried about the running cost on the rs6. example. just had a thermostat that was a grand fitted. i dont know if i can have the hassel of working on it. dont want to pay people either.
 
The gearbox is the biggest money pit on the RS6.

DRC isn't much better, brakes are expensive and take a battering, and cambelt changes are fairly eye watering too.

My old boss had one, alongside a Murcielago. The big bull was cheaper to keep on the road. :wtf:
 
Both were doing about the same mileage...he buys supercars to be used, not parked in a garage and polished.

I remember picking the RS6 up from a service once - cambelt change, new discs and pads all round, new tyres. The bill very nearly started with a 4. :wtf:
