Would like to know the specs on this 4x4 with the 24 valve diesel turbo engine. There are some many models, very confusing

It is a Desert Wolf Lynx.

Nice trailer with all the bits to be self sufficient, setup of the tent is easy and quick, great build quality all stainless steel. Bit on the heavy side with a custom 1800kg axel to match the cruisers wheel base.

Welcome to the forum Gerrie & Trudi, what a handsome "unmodified" looking modified truck you have there!

Lots of saffas on this forum as you will now appreciate, and a helpful bunch they are too

See the link for the trailer's details. http://www.desert-wolf.com/dw/produ...-trailers/lynx-not-too-big-not-too-small.html

We bought the trailer 2nd hand but the previous owner "my father-in-law" fitted all the extra whistles and bells possible to the trailer.
I just need to find a nice gas camping geyser for the shower.

You can look at the Kariba geyser - or have those fallen out of favour now?

Trailer looks lekka!

Thanks for posting the spec and photos, a pretty comprehensive looking trailer there

Welcome Boet

Whats your next trip going to be?

Hello Iceman

We hoping to do a trip to Botswana (Moremi and Chobi) and Namibia (Caprivi and then kaokoland). We did the trip before but in a Pajero DID. The Cruiser is still new to our family and can't wait to take the open road.

Will be playing out on a trail this weekend and hope for the best.

Regards

Hi Gerrie,
Nice looking cruiser, I'm sure you will enjoy Chobi in the 80 with all that loose sand in the park. We used to live in Garorone and spent many happy times in that area...

I took the cruiser for the first time out on a 4x4 trail close by to put it through it passes. Had loads of fun and was very happy with its performance.
