hi has anyone got any suggestion for replacement front seat for my 80 Series

We looked at Schielman seats. Really nice but we couldn't find any information on how they'd mount into an 80. We could have bought one and then try to fit it to an OEM subframe but honestly just gave up in the end.

if I remember correctly there is a thread in the forum on this topic, which you can search for past topics. I think ideas included seats from Subaru, Ford models, x3s. But as Chris says I can’t recall how they got fitted to the vehicle itself.

I want to get rid of my cruisers front seats as I find them very hard on the back on a long drive with no lumbar support whatsoever. I actually always hated them. It's a 90 series SWB, it's a van so I don't need the front seats to fold to let people into the back so I would consider a...

From "Incharge automotive enhancements" in Melbourne aus. I was quoted $1650 for both front seats with rails.
You can get rail kits for most ford xr seats or other alternatives (Holden here) but you will be looking at around 1.5-2.0k, so quite a expensive option
