In praise of MEMFAST

I bought the full set of Memfast Rivnut insertion tools last year. Been delighted. I came to use the very smallest the other day for the first time - 4mm IIRC. Two turns in and it was clear there was a problem. The mandrel driver has a little tit on the end that engages with a high tensile set screw which in turn crushes the Rivnut. This had simply rounded off. I contacted Memfast ready for an argument about user error etc, to be told immediately that there had been a problem with some, I was on file and they'd replace it in a week or so as new stock came in. Arrived home to a mountain of post today and a huge carton. Had no idea what it was. Missus looked on suspiciously as I opened it. Blow me, they have replaced the entire set. Every last part, all in new material.

Way to go Memfast.

Quite a long time ago I bought the Memfast Rivnut insertion tool set and the first time I used one of them I broke it through sheer ham-fistedness, so I contacted them to buy a replacement part, and like you Chris
They sent me a complete set at no charge
I couldn't believe it, they weren't exactly cheap IIRC
