Injection pump leak

Has any one had a problem where fuel leaks out of the throttle spindle of the pump of a LJ70? Mine started leaking last year and is now a constant drip meaning the car won't pass a MOT and it's not good to my driveway either.

I have sent you off-list my guide to fixing the top plate and spindle
leaks in the pump. A document that Julian says will one day appear on
the website.
Its quite straightforward as you imply. No great deal of rocket
science involved except for thoroughly cleaning the pump body and
drying it (of water not the leaking diesel!) by running for a while
before you start the operation.

But Julian, let me assure you that when you get to my age the long
term memory improves immensely, its just remembering what you had for
breakfast yesterday that becomes a problem - ask my grandchildren,
they think its very entertaining.
So don't worry about it ;-)
