Intermittent start problem

Okay fellas, here's a question for you. Jumped into the cruiser yesterday morning and turned the key. All I hear is a click. So I turn the key again and it starts as normal but the clock has reset. Same thing happened again today, again the clock resets. It had a new battery and recon'ed alternator just over a year ago.

What do we think??

Terminals loose maybe.

Clean the battery terminals , its worth mentioning for those who don't know always remove the negative terminal first and replace it last , i've known that since i was about 7 years old yet somehow yesterday while replacing the battery on automatic pilot and thinking about something altogether different i managed to do it the wrong way around

Cheers fellas. I cleaned and greased the terminals - bingo, no more problems!
