KDJ120R-GKPEYW -> what's the KW / HP?

Hi.

I've a KDJ120R (3.0 D4D; UK model) from 2003. More specifically:

Frame number: JTEBZ29J800030414
Trim code: 1D4
Manufacture date: 2003.10
KDJ120R-GKPEYW
Production period: 09.2002 - 08.2004

I need to change my injectors. I know that the toyota part-number is 23670-39025.
When I search online, before getting to the diesel injectors I'm presented with a couple of KW / HP combination to choose from:
(a) 120 KW / 163 HP
(b) 122 KW / 166 HP
(c) 127 KW / 173 HP
(d) 150 KW / 204 HP
(e) 92 KW / 125 HP

I cannot find any information on which one of those corresponds to my car. Where/how do I find this information? Would anyone be able to help me figure this out?

Sorry if something related to this has already been posted, I've looked but couldn't find.

For a 2003, 4 speed auto it should be the first one I think - 120kw / 163bhp.

Does it matter? Your part number is correct, so get your supplier to fit those. Not sure if you are trying to source in Mozambique

I'm trying to buy it in the UK, or Germany. Thing is, I have no ideia if it matters. When going through the car selection filters I get stuck on the KW / HP filter!

For a 2003, 4 speed auto it should be the first one I think - 120kw / 163bhp.

Injector Swap

Hello Just thinking out loud really. Do any of the Toyota Guru's know if you buy new injectors, can a home mechanic do the swap over or do you need the software to code them in? Not that my injectors need doing im just thinking in the long term, if they needed doing, could i do them.

My mechanic sent me an image of the injector's part number. Can you believe I've got the wrong injectors on my car?! These are the ones on my car: 23670-30020. According to this site: ToyoDIY.com - [Leaving Land Cruiser Club], those injectors are for KDJ9*,KZJ9*,VZJ9*! According to the same site (ToyoDIY.com - [Leaving Land Cruiser Club]), the correct one should be 23670-39025, which work on GRJ12*,KDJ12*, and also work on KDJ9*,KZJ9*,VZJ9*. Funny thing is they worked beautifully, until they've started to fail

The later 90's had the D4D engine so it's possible they are the same, but like you have done, I used Toyodiy to check the injector part numbers to the model number you provided.

If you are unsure, I'd give Specialist Diesel a call as I'm sure they will sort you out.
