Knocking noise on tight turns

Hi guys,

When I turn full lock (both ways) I get a knocking noise - I assume it could be steering rack bushes or maybe CV joints - haven't greased them for a while, so hopefully that's what it is. Any other thoughts as to what it could be??

Knocking as in continuous knocking - tunk tunk tunk tunk as you drive round
Or just a thud when you go lock to lock?

First option sounds like CVs. Quite unusual on a 90 though

It's just a clunk on lock to lock - does that make it easier and cheaper
