Land Cruiser Model 2001 Head Light Malfunction

I have problem with the Head Light of my Land Cruiser Model: 2001 GXR, When I switch OFF the car and remove the key after a few seconds the Headlights power ON itself and sty ON

when I insert back the key in the switch and turn the key in ON position the headlights power OFF and when turn the key to Lock position the Headlights power ON again and sty ON

This sounds similar to a frequent problem on Nissan Patrols out here.... The contacts in the switch get mucky with all the dust and it starts a short across them. If it is the same problem then gently take the switch apart clean them and re-assemble. I say gently because if they are like the Patrol the contacts are on tangs. Simple job... just needs patience.
