If you need to pass a few minuets
Yep, you can see the thought process behind the design of the RR ‘recoil from a gun can be pretty dangerous, let’s design one that has an explosion instead’ hmm great idea!!Amazed at the damage the Back Blast from that Small cannon did. It made more Mess than the Tank Shell.. Seems the only thing left to do with a Knackered Disco 3..
Well there will never be a shortage of knackered Disco 3s For the Tank Boys to play with.....Maybe the peppering of holes in the back door from the recoil blast was debris picked up off the floor and turned into shrapnel?
The guy said it would no longer pass the smog test so I guess it could be anything from some dead electronics to a knackered DPF/CAT or even some other emissions crap they're loaded up with for sale over there. I watched a video on Youtube recently (I think it was posted on here) about an ex-pat Brit who now lives and works over there specialising in LR repairs and he was bemoaning the complexity and repair cost off all the 'active' electronic systems that can lead to the scrapping of the vehicle.
Ahh but think of all the emissions that will be saving. Not including those required to dismantle and recycle the vehicle of course, or the emissions needed to create the replacement vehicle. I wonder what the difference would be? Obviously we would need to be talking about a reliable vehicle that would go on and on. I wouldn’t mind betting the exchange to a new vehicle would put far more emissions into the atmosphere than simply running the vehicle.Maybe the peppering of holes in the back door from the recoil blast was debris picked up off the floor and turned into shrapnel?

There you go. Run an old Landcruiser and save the planet.

Ah! Yes, Plenty of those around For target Practice..... or LC5 120s maybe? ;-)
I expect if you had a word with @stumog he might have a buddy or two that could oblige H.Ah! Yes, Plenty of those around For target Practice..
Ah right, thanks, I had to have the sound turned down! The guys says it’s a non explosive solid projectile right at the beginning of the vid. Probably tungsten as the the solid DU rounds ignite on impact.
I want one of those 68k FPS cameras!
