Its not quite as straight and true to drive and the seats are not as good. Performance and economy are similar. I prefer the looks of the Disco but there are too many of them about. Both feel bomb-proof but the difference I suspect is that the Cruiser really is. I would never buy another Disco but would certainly buy another Land Cruiser. I was in Dubai this week and there are thousands of them over there. Lots of lovely looking gleeming white Amazons!

I am a convert to the marque but still love my Defenders. The Disco however has been seen off by its Japanese rival in my book.

But when it comes to Land Cruiser, there is no comparison.
Loads of 80 series
Loads of 90 series
thousands of 120's
Millions of 150 series
Millions of 100 series

I would say every thing except 80 series is 100% petrol
The 80 series is about 30% diesel, rest petrol

There is a lot, and mean a lot of gas conversions here.

You would be shocked to see the number of 100 series V8 amazons running around.
Almost without doubt, every taxi (Hyundia Elantras or new VW Jettas) runs on LPG.

The only other 4x4 is the Jeep, the Cherokee's, thousands of theses, as Beijing bought the licence, I think they were still being made up till just a few years ago.
They are really quite nice., then there are the GC, Compass, and all them.
