I think it was an early 50's design, I had that bike about 57/58.Wow!

As we've moved onto bikes being works of art, check out the frames from Talbot Frame Works in London; if you follow the bike tech at all, Shimano offer a shifter/mech combo that no longer uses the conventional cabling, and is instead digital (still needs a wire)... so Talbot took it a step further and integrate that wire into the frame's paint....
