I have a toggle switch on my dash, simply up/down. It doesn't seem to do anything. Does anyone know what it's for? Thanks Tom.

I don't recall any toggle switches on the TLC, pull push (headlamps), rocker (hazard lamps, four way lights in the US) and rotary (wipers) yes, if you get your post count up you will be able to post a picture and that may be helpful if we can see roughly where it is mounted, do all the accessories work as they should? The older cruisers were simple, switches for lights, wipers and heater, toggle switch was probably for additional spot lamps or something like that, hope this helps you.

Is it for making the aerial go up and down? That's a rocker switch though.

I've moved your thread to "40 Series" I suspect it's a 40 series?

Hi there

I would say its not factory but would guess it to be for an external light, spot lights, or fog light
