my cruiser has a COMBINATION u-joint. both outer and inner clips
I hope I am able to post pics or a link to pics. this is the front propeller shaft and the u-joint is the rear joint at the transfer case. as you can see, the caps that attach to the drive shaft are outer clips and the caps that attach to the transfer case are inner clips.
has anyone else had a landcruiser with this arrangement?
this particular u-joint needs replacement bad and I am worried that I am going to get the wrong part. if anyone has been in the same situation as I am, what part did you use? I am hoping that moog 285 can work, because that is what I told my brother-in-law to order for me. the moog 285 has all inner clips
