Hello Land Cruiser Club - I'm new to to site because I am desperate! I own a 2006 Sequioa (Don't shoot me b/c it's not an official "land cruiser") and I'm having rear shock problems. I've taken it to 2 dealers and I've spent too much money and they are clueless as to the problem. Here's what I'm experiencing
- The vehicle is very BOUNCY (like a school bus)
- The air compressor is not going on ... at least what I can hear
- I am not bottoming out though ?
The dealers don't know what to do so they are recommending replacing it all ($$$$$)
Do any of you have any wisdom on this? I know the air bags for the schocks may need replacing but if they were ruined I'm guessing we would be bottoming out often. I'm wondering if it's just a compressor issue and that needs to be replaced?
I know the Sequoia is similar to a Land Cruiser so I'm hoping some of you have some wisdom on this?
