New HJ47

Hi I love the old 40 it's looking good thanks for the pics.
Tony.

After so many years decided to read the owners book and found some interesting things.
The rust problem is easy to resolve if all of us just took all these precautions +|- 30 years ago:icon-biggrin::icon-biggrin::icon-biggrin::icon-biggrin::icon-biggrin:

I love the 40 series, my uncle had one for years and all of us kids used to pile up in the back and go off road up the mountains, while bouncing around in the pick up bed!

Yours are very nice examples and you have done a fine job restoring them!

Thanks, also been around these landcruiser's since small,I think it's a bug that bites while were young and stays with us forever.

:wtf: Been quite a hectic few weeks that have gone buy,I'm sad to say I sold my HJ47.
Yes it's gone, sold it to a client in Zambia,it's actually ironic,it was born in Africa and it will die in Africa!
But as these Landcruisers are like drugs I had to get a substitute so I bought myself another HJ47,and yes it's another ex-South African cruiser.
I'll post pic as soon as I can!

Look at my new toy!!
1 owner and 40 999 km all original papers and documents!
