Hello, I have just joined. I have an 80 series LC diesel.
There is an oil leak from the float switch in the sump. I can't find any reference to this switch in the Toyota work shop manuals. Is it just a matter of a new gasket?

Welcome. Yeah, they all leak there. Not a big problem. You can take it out, clean it up and use some RTV sealant on it if it bothers you. Usually looks worse than it is.
