Hello, am new to this forum, leaving in Tanzania, Dar es Salaam. There's a 1994 VX limited 4.2 td for sale, good condition, 256000 kms.
I drove it and it seems fine. A whistle whenever I press the accelerator ( normal I suppose), but I couldn't feel a clear kick in from the turbo. I had never driven one before, so maybe that "kick in" expectation from the turbo is wrong from my part? Also, on a more general matter, is there a place on the 80 series forum that would have a post/thread that sums up or shows a detailed checklist of what needs to be checked upon buying a 80 series? that's my situation right now.
