Hi all,

I am new on this forum but not in offroad I start enjoying it in 1998.
I will tell shortly about my "ICE CREEM BOOTH" (as everyone calls my car)

I bought BJ40 in 2004 and she :) still with me.
Originally it comes with 2B diesel engine, but late I put turbo, IronMan suspension and 33"BFG MT tires on it. When we grow up we had 36" SSW, SOA and bigger turbo, full floating rear axle with LSD, 5spd. +h55f gear box, power steering .I moved front axle 15cm forward and rear 10cm back, front leaf spring was turned over.
6 years with no repair just maintenance, it was really tough offroader.
But its not enough...... project in progress, very slowly but its moving :).

Sorry for my english.

OMG I'm in love with your truck

Welcome aboard....oh and you too Ramas

You can bet your English is far better than the whole forum's ability in Lithuanian

Wecome, I love the 40 and especially those modded without destroying the original style too much.

What's the project in progress? Do tell...

Laukiamas!

That is a very nice truck you have there.

We all have projects in progress, and they never seem to move as fast as we would like them too :)

Hi Ramas,
Welcome.

Nice truck.
What is the V8 diesel you are putting in your project BJ40? Are you mating it to a Toyo (h55) box?

40s are the best!

Regards,

Regards,

Its Chevy 6.2 diesel from ex. army truck. + 3speed automatic gear box th400 + h55 tranfare case. This set much lighter and shorter than Toyota 4.2 TD with auto gear box. ( and finely I love V8 :) )

V8 chevy in a 40... like to see some build pics of that. Sounds coooool.

regards
