of auctions for them from Hong Kong - just make sure you get a named brand - I got a Sandisk one.
Hello,
A 2GB SD card I bought on on ebay arrived this morning. I also paid
=A328 and p&p. I made sure I got a named brand - I got a Sandisk one. It
it a good brand that comes with lifetime warranty.
Trouble is, the SD card is
a) fake - Sandisk confirmed to me t's a genuine counterfeit product
made in Taiwan
b) faulty - windows XP doesn't t recognize it and fals to format the card
I should have smelled the rat when I noticed that while the seller
claimed to be based in the UK, he advised me it would take him 5-7
days to deliver the goods. Eventualy, when it arrived, the envelope
was covered all over with Chinese stamps and labels.
Also, the seller - crossfocus ([Email address removed]) had hundreds
of pos feedbacks and 99.9% satisfaction rate. Only later I noticed his
ebay account was created less than two months ago.
I've been trading on ebay for some time and the only problem I ever
had was with another SD card supplier. These tossers must be attracted
to memory cards like flies to a s**tpile!
I am wondering if I ever get the money back...
