Just wondered if these parts prices tallied with what you are all paying...
Inner axle oil seal, T90310-35010 =A39.60
Oil filter T90915-30002-8T =A314.58
Disc pads, front, T04465-60020 =A353.63
Disc pad rear T04466-60020 =A347.79
Air filter T17801=3D68030 =A327.91
There's been a slight increase from what I can tell - oil seals used to be
=A38.50.
Would simply like to know if Mr T charges the same all over the country and
Europe, as I suspect he probably doesn't.

Hi,
I pay around the ?8.50 mark for the inner axle seal.
Also you can get Toyota Optifit pads from the dealer for the front
(04465-YZZAL - that's for my '94, might not fit pre '92s) - apparently
same material as normal Toyota pads, but cheaper packaging, etc so only
?28.09. Not available for rear.
Can't remember if those are + or inc VAT.

Certainly not. Every dealer buys parts at trade prices from Toyota
Europe than adds his margin, which may differ slightly, but not much,
accross the market.Dealers actually stock very few parts and when they
need them they have them shipped from Belgium at the current price set
by Toyota. If a dealer buys more parts, he will get better prices but
it does not necessarily translate into a better deal for the customer.
In European countries local markets show some variation but it's not
dramatic. I think Belgium and Holland are cheaper than the UK. The
real difference is whether the parts come from the Toyota
distributioin channels or from another source, like Australia, where
the aftermarket is much bigger compared to Europe.
