I've never ventured abroad on a 4x4 adventure and don't plan to but the situation that seems to be developing mirrors that currently being faced in the UK by the TRF and GLASS etc where the relatively few remaining vehicular 'green lane' rights of way are constantly under threat from the rambling/horse riding brigade not to mention the NIMBYS. All brought about by alleged damage to such routes by motorised vehicles but, more relevantly, misuse by the mindless individuals who think they have a God given right to venture anywhere, however and whenever they please. I've seen groups of unplated, motocross bikes blast down lanes with little regard to anything/anybody, knowing full well they can't be traced, really p*****g off those out on foot who are quite likely to just take down the reg numbers of the next legal riders that come along and report them.
